Buyer removed valuable parts off an item and now claiming a return
I have had a buyer remove the valuable parts from an item i have sold , He is now requesting a refund .
The buyer has clearly removed items , as the box was not tampered with , I gave him regular updates and managed to ship the item from South Africa all the way to the US in 7 days flat .
I feel like my hands are tied as i have spent a ton of money sending the package as all i am trying to do is build a brand and provide good service , If anyone has some direction for help , I cant be out of pocket for this amount .

·2 years agoHow do you know the buyer removed items? Did he tell you? Did you see him do it? Or are you speculating?
If the buyer returns as NAD, you issue return label, refund when it’s in your hands, that’s how it works. So yes your hands are tied.

·2 years agoYou're in South Africa shipping from China? Sending International? You won't be able to control your returns like this. You have no way of knowing the condition of the item. If the buyer filed for a return NAD then you pay to get it returned to you.

·2 years agoNice catch, listing says shipping from South Africa but shipping area says shipping from China. Deceptive IMO

·2 years agoSorry, but your hands ARE tied.
It's your word against the buyer.
Ebay will always side with the buyer.
This is one of the risks of selling online.
