Buyer Pays for larger item, funds clear, their freight, I gave info, now not responding
This is a larger item that requires freight shipping, Sold for $1200. The buyer paid and Freight is on them. The funds have cleared. Now I'm waiting for a response after providing all the details for them to arrange P/U . I have provided my phone for direct contact, but don't have theirs to reach out. Should I be concerned this is a scam?

·5 months agoI don't know how quick it is to arrange freight for something. It may just be taking some time to arrange it from your location to his (and I wouldn't count the weekend) so I wouldn't panic yet.
This item isn't screaming scam.

·5 months agoProbably a business purchase where one thing got delegated to someone else and they are just going to take their sweet time on the logistics.
I would not be worried about a scam, it simply is not a scam item.
Worst case scenario is that they ask to cancel and you refund them.
Best case scenario, they abandon the paid for thing, never pick it up, don't ask for a refund and you get to sell it a second time later.
When I used to specialize in arcade games I once paid for a game I bought on ebay and never picked it up. The logistics fell apart, other things became critical and I just put it off too long.
Equally, back when I did arcade games I had 3 separate occassions where people paid for games and never picked them up. Those were back in the "check in the mail" days of online selling, when that was way more common than paypal.

I'm not getting the feeling that this is a scam...
