Buyer Non Payment
So I have another question regarding non-payment from buyers.Â
Â
I have taken all the available precautions to prevent this knowing that Ebay does not make immediate payment necessary for all sellers. I know they are working on it but is there anything else I can do. Â
Â
I am now very hesitant to make offers to buyers knowing that they can get away with not paying and tie up my listing for 4 days. That leads to my questions...
Â
Can I make payment necessary sooner then 4 days? Or can I cancel an order that is not paid within 24 hours without being flagged or "punished" as a seller.

·3 years agoThere are only two transaction scenarios that don't require immediate payment: auctions and offers. If you're interested in eliminating unpaid transactions, you have not taken all the available precautions to prevent them, since one of the big ones is to avoid making or accepting offers.

Canceling any sooner than that would be a violation.Â

·3 years agoTo the best of my knowledge, the only way you can require payment sooner is to list BIN, immediate payment required.
And you cannot cancel an order that is not paid in 24 hours. ALL buyers have 4 days to pay unless you list as above. Â
