Buyer lies in negative feedback saying I don’t respond to messages
So someone bought something on 2/27 and had sent me several messages on 2/27 regarding the purchase and my most recent response was on 2/28. The item was delivered around 3/6 and the buyer left negative feedback saying:
â€JUST ABSOLUTELY REFUSES TO RESPOND TO MESSAGES. I'M HAVING SOME ISSUES WITH THE [item] AND BOUGHT THIS 8 DAYS AGO. SINCE RECEIVING IT, I'VE MESSAGED 3 DIFFERENT TIMES WITH ZERO RESPONSE. THIS SELLER JUST DOES NOT CARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!â€
It is proven through message history that this is not the case, since they haven’t sent me a single message since 2/27 (long before the item was ever delivered). So they of course couldn’t say they sent me 3 messages after delivery with no response. This buyer also isn’t new and does a decent amount of selling as well, so they should know how messages work. I already contacted eBay for business on fb and was told this doesn’t specifically violate feedback policies, even though it’s a very obvious lie. I haven’t called eBay yet. Is there still a chance that this can get removed?

Please check your Junk mail folder in case my responses to your questions of 2/27(add time stamps if you feel grumpy since there are several) made on 2/28 are there. I have checked my junkmail folder and there is no record of Messages since then."
You can add something similar to the feedback.
Usually it is not a good idea to respond to feedback, since it draws attention to negs, but this buyer already looks like a drooling anger monkey, so a calm professional Response should be fine.

Calling eBay is not going to change that.
