Buyer gives bad review and post pic of a different worn out pair compared to what I sent.
Summary: lauriedpt93 expressed concern about receiving negative feedback on eBay for boots they sold, which the buyer claimed were different from what was sent. They attempted to have the feedback removed, but eBay denied the request. inhawaii suggested responding to the feedback for future buyers' reference, stating that the boots pictured were not the ones sent and reminding buyers of eBay's money-back guarantee.

The first 2 pics are the boots I sent and the last is a pic of what the buyer put in my review. I've already sent a request to have the neg feedback removed but EBay denied stating the boots were different. Which I know. Because they aren't the ones I sent. What else can I do to have the negative review removed?

·Sep 13, 2026 at 5:49 PMI'd be tempted to file a small claims case but assume it's not enough money to do that. Unless maybe filing for a 5k defamation.
Wonder if there's a way to get at least the nasty picture removed.

All you can do is respond to the feedback.
Remember, your response is for future prospective buyers to read.
I would respond with something like this...
Those are not the shoes I sent. Ebay offers a money back guarantee if you feel the item is not as described.
