buyer didn't receive item, but tracking shows it was delivered
I just received a message from a buyer yesterday stating they didn't receive their item, but per the USPS tracking, it was delivered over a week and a half ago. They haven't opened a case yet, so I'm just wondering how I should respond to their message? I've just never had this happen before, so I'm not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated - thanks!

·3 years agoIt happened to me and really there is nothing you can do. EBay doesn't care if you got it or not and uses is so corrupt that you can't trust them. I guess I just lost the money.

Well that isn't true. How would it be fair to the seller that if the tracking shows delivered that they are still held responsible if the buyer says they did not receive it???? So any and all buyers that have tracking showing delivered could say they didn't get it and then be forced to refund the buyer?? So the seller is absolutely unsafe and will go bankrupt quickly because of it.
Sellers are not responsible if a package gets stolen. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a safe location for the delivery of packages, not the seller.

Because of the age of the original message, you really needed to start your own thread; however, since you posted on this one, we would like to help you.
Every buyer on eBay has eBay's Money Back Guarantee to use if/when a transaction goes wrong. If you would like to return here and offer relevant details, including dates, we'd like to offer help or advice. Your statement that eBay is corrupt is untrue and unfair. eBay is extremely biased in favor of buyers vs sellers.
Please feel to return, or to start a new thread.
