Buyer demands a refund
Hi All,
I was trying to refund a buyer from April 28th. It's a small amount. Expected delivery was June 7th. I told buyer to open a INR but I guess the time frame expired. Buyer is in Israel and there is a language barrier. I keep telling him to use English and he has sometimes. I think he might have said the wrong words though. I didn't see anything in eBay where its possible to refund him so he would just go way.
My latest email from him: "Hey, I don't have time to check every month what doesn't come to me. Want to make war with me and my father - no problem."
He also stated: "if you are honest & good send free of charge new delivery."
I kinda just want to refund this guy but can't seem to find the right click on eBay.
Is it too late to refund him?
And I can't see sending him anything more since he didn't receive the first item.
I usually have great experiences with buyers from Israel and would never block this country.
What to do?

·3 years agoUmmmm... it sounds like he's threatening you? I'd report him to eBay for harassment and block him.

·3 years agoHi, Can you just "send money" thru. Pay-Pal Or some other. (not too familiar on how these things work.) Also, being that a case cannot be opened due to the sale being outdated - can you block now. Last resort, see if ebay will handle it for you. I have had good luck using their online chat when settling any issues. Best Of Luck!

·3 years agoThe estimated delivery date was June 7th.
Even though the MBG has expired, the buyer can still open a case, but it'll be between the buyer and seller, Ebay won't get involved.

·3 years agoIsn't it always interesting that these buyers pop-up at the 90 day mark? Right after the
sold order falls off your seller hub page.
I had an Australia buyer do this to me last week on an order I mailed in March.
Honestly, I'd refund the $4.00 without comment and then block him. That's me.

·3 years agoAs we say on the eBay Canada Boards, everyone in the world understands the US dollar, Americans understand nothing else.
Most non-US sellers and buyers can do a rough exchange between our own currency and yours, and often the euro and the pound as well. Most US sellers would have to look it up.
Any Israeli bank would change US dollars. Most shopkeepers would accept them instead of the local currency (at a terrible exchange rate).

·3 years agoHey man, I've had people pay more to ship an item, than the item itself, get it and then open a remorse return and PAY SHIPPING AGAIN.
...even after I told them what there were spending $30 on a $10 bill.

·3 years agoThe best advice that I can give you, is to contact ebay on your end as a seller and ask this buyer to get refunded.
