Buyer cancellation request
Hello and goodmorning, I’m a seller on eBay. I’ve had buyers make an offer and then ask me not to accept, I’ve also had them request a cancellation right away. And I cancel for for them no problem. This morning I had a buyer buy something, and payment processed. I got package ready was finishing up and about 30 min after they bought they try to cancel, no message no explanation nothing. I believe it’s because I had a volume deal when you buy 2. But this is sought after item I turned down an offer because this buyer had already paid. Am I obligated to accept the cancellation request? I believe buyer just had remorse and I already have used shipping supplies to get package ready.

·10 months agoEveryone is on the same page here. Go and cancel the order to avoid future problems with this buyer. Nothing good will comes of this if you ship it now.

Not doing it, could lead to more problems.

·10 months ago@averagejuicecollects honor the cancellation. if u get an unhappy buyer, they can retaliate by opening a return case that would make u pay for return shipping and risk all kinds of other possible repercussions.
as far as it being packaged up, this makes it ready for the next buyer.

·10 months agoYou should honor the cancellation request. Why send a package to a buyer that does not want it? They could send it back or possibly do a chargeback. No good can come out of you shipping the item.
