Buyer bought item while paying less of the item cost
No offers were sent, but buyer paid $36.65 for an iten, while the price was $39.99. How does this happen? How can i contact ebay about it?

·1 year agoThis sold as a seller initiated offer, you may have automatic offers set up

·1 year agoFrom your hub, go into active listings >All filters >Offers and see if you have any offers being sent automatically. You can turn any off from there. It's possible you made a mistake when creating the listing, but at least you can turn it off.

·1 year agoI've had listings that will go to send automatic offers.
If you go to your "manage active listings" and look across the search tabs
find "offers" and it will show if and how many listings are set up that way.
I've had to go in and manually change it on some listings.
Don't know if that will help.

There's no strike-through on the price in the sold-items list, so that means that it was a seller-initiated offer, without a doubt.
There was an earlier offer a couple of months ago, so you may have set up automatic offers without realizing it. eBay sets this as the default, and lots of sellers don't realize that eBay will go on sending offers automatically after that.

·1 year agoi think they use ebay coupons. and the deduction may be yours because of ebay's mistake, you can ask ebay susport

·1 year agoBut it's wrong. That's not how eBay coupons work. And that listing sold to a seller-initiated offer.

·1 year agoeBay coupons do not change the amount the seller receives. The $X off is covered by eBay.

OP1 year agoAs far as I know, no. Never did that for any item. Lets assume i accidently did it by mistake, would it show somewhere that that what has happened?

·1 year agoPossibly, if you tried a relist on it it should show you what you originally put there, just don't resubmit it, cancel the relist after looking it over carefully.
