Buyer backed out
So I clearly have it listed local buyers only no purchase out of my capital region. This is the 3rd time I've had to relist my tv because of out of state buyers bidding an winning on there bids . The last time just about a week ago . They got it I put in for payment reminder nothing I sent several messages was completely ignored by the buyer . 3 days go by and I get tired of being ignored finally sent them the last message saying if you're not interested let me know otherwise you have until tomorrow to make the payment or I'm canceling it and relisting it next day I get a message saying cancel it I live in New Orleans anyway. Feeling healthy now this is the second time two out of state people were able to bid and and got it and I've had to cancel it when it clearly states local buyers only on my page so now I've had to relist the TV for the third time I'm out money that I could have gotten weeks ago for the purchase of local buyers. So does anyone know if I'm entitled to like any type of like credit or anything from eBay because of this is the third time now that I've had to list it. And it's not like it's something shabby it's a brand new 65 inch Roku high definition TV that I bought in February they haven't even used but I did take it out the box it just sits on the floor cuz I'm going to be moving and trying to take as less as possible with me

The title for the "bed" should be changed.
The likelihood of someone locating that listing with "bed", "lamps", "nite stand"(sic) amongst the jumble of other words in the title is slim. "Brand", "size", "LED night stands", "LED headboard".
Is this a complete bed??? Mattress, bedding??? Those items are shown in the photos.
Title should contain as many "pertinent to the item" keywords as possible to aid in search.
The fact that it is/is not assembled can be in the description, and as a note in the "condition" section where you could also again state LOCAL PICKUP ONLY 😊

You state here it is a ROKU, but in the "item specs" it says TLC

I'm not a big fan of ALL CAPS, but in this instance inhawaii has it nailed.
Make those potential buyers understand.
Others suggesting that it be there in the title along with the suggestion to use "fixed price" IPR also offer sound advice.
All those bidders are seeing is a 65" 4K TV for low $$, and have tunneled in on that.

I'm new to "phone" looking, but it is clear on the page that I see that it is local pick up, but some still will never pay attention when they see a low price.
Fixed price IPR . That "reserve" fee that you now have is not refundable. $$ down the drain if not sold/not paid.
As you have bids, you can not change the title to add the LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, but you should still be able to add that to the description.

Not sure if you will ever get back here to read any posts, but another thing to consider.
You can not ship that TV stand USPS 1st Class mail, nor can you ship it for $5.40. You can not ship it across the street for that amount.
Starting the bid at $0.99 as eBay suggests is not the best of choices. Bidding is best started at an amount that you are willing to accept.
Additionally, the "fan", not being included, should not appear in the photo for a TV stand 🙂

·3 years agoAs @candd205 mentioned sell it on a local forum. You could probably also ask a bit less, say 15%, since you won't be paying the eBay fees. From the couple of times you have listed it on auction and a little research on the internet you should have an idea of what the item is worth or what they are selling for.

·3 years agoWhile quite a few sellers offer Local Pickup as an additional OPTION to shipping, Local Pickup Only is not that common.
You need to make it really obvious in both the Title and Description "PICK UP ONLY".

·3 years agoYou are losing a lot of time by listing those items in auction format rather than fixed price ("Buy it now"). If you do end up having to list the TV again, use fixed price. Consider ending those other two auctions for pickup items, and relist in fixed price format instead.
Also, use some of those 80 available spaces in the title to indicate that it is pickup only: your TV auction has enough space so you could have included "Must pick up in Troy NY" right in the title. Ot at least make that clear in your listing description.

·3 years agoI have had this happen in the past to me when I tried to sell local pick up only items. Now I don't use eBay to sell local pick-up items. I only sell them locally now, on FB or CL or ND. No, you don't get any credit, in fact, it costs you non-refundable 30 cents every time it sells.

·3 years agoThis happens often with 'Local Pick Up Only' items. A lot of buyers buy using their cells and sometimes miss this altogether along with full descriptions.
