Bundle Discounts an "Opt-In" Option

Curious...this may have just reached me and is New, but has anybody seen this function and currently using it maybe in a Beta Test (I can't activate it yet). I use Volume Discounts and Combined Shipping but first time seeing this.

·1 month agoThis is mostly a re-run - eBay had a very good bundle discount system set up for some years and then just got rid of it. I used it with my store (I was full time and had plenty of stuff on offer) and it was a great feature.

·1 month agoA discount either on products or shipping when one buys over a certain amount of items. Mine was "Three ships free" - eBay had a great system for that where they'd encourage a buyer to look at other of a seller's items to see if they wanted to fill in the discount.
One can have 10%, 20% or whatever percentage off bundles, say, of 3 or more items.
I bundle like crazy on the other sites where I sell, but after eBay stopped this nice feature, I haven't seen another one.

I saw this an hour ago. So how is this different than going to the marketing dashboard and implementing an order discount? It seems like it was haphazardly thrown together to replicate other platforms who use a "bundle" ? Reminds me of the new issue resolution center vs. the older resolution hub -- both are still active.

OP1 month agoYeah could be...I can't access yet but apparently by Opting In it is always on across your Listings unless you modify it. Some wild automatic calculations for Refunds appear to built-in should a Buyer return part of a Bundle. Could get interestingly complicated for both a Seller and Buyer.
