Bulk editing question
Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to raise all item prices by a percentage at once? I've never bulk edited anything due to the risk of getting it all wrong, irreversibly. Thanks

OP5 months agoThank you. Now a quick question about promoted listings. Say i want to try them for 90 days and after 90 days discover it is not successful so at 90 days I want to end the experiment. Would those formerly promoted listings always be subject to the once promoted rates?

·5 months agoNo, as long as you end all of the campaigns once your experiment is completed. To incur the promoted listing general fee, the listing(s) must be in an active promoted listing general campaign at the time of the click and at the time of the sale.

·5 months ago@kingsriverboy It's important to note that the promoted listings fees did apply after you stopped promoting under the old rules, not that long ago, so you may still see posts here on the forum reference that. @mcdougle4248 is correct about the current rules.

OP5 months agoThank you, SO is a campaign different than promoting in the box of composing each listing? If so, is this an important distinction?

·5 months agoWell, it might be. If you are promoting at the listing level for each listing, you can end up with lots of campaigns. It would be best to check here https://www.ebay.com/sh/ads/dashboard/campaigns and end the appropriate campaign(s).

·5 months agoYes, that is very simple there, or you can even do that from the Active listings. Just note that if you have any active offers on any of your listings (sent by you or sent to you from buyers), those listings will not allow you to turn off offers until those offers time out or are dealt with.

·5 months agoYes you can. It’s pretty straightforward. You can bulk edit your listings, and raise or lower the Buy it Now price by dollar amount or percentage. It’s tougher to undo a percentage price change if all of your listings have different prices as that will require more math rather than raising or dropping all your listings by like $2 for instance.
For instance, if you raise all your listings prices by 10%, to undo it you’ll then have to lower all your listing prices by 9.09%
