New people on eBay can be exhausting. Sorry, I have to rant. Had a buyer purchase a belt buckle from me. He paid, I printed the label today and sent it on it's way. He then does a cancellation request. I check and my carrier who did the pick up hasn't scanned it into the system yet but regardless, it is gone. The buyer contacts me and says that he wants to cancel because, and I quote... "I found someone selling two of these with a different color for the same price." I don't think I have ever had a cancellation request this idiotic before. I mean... come on, kid. Anyway, I deny the cancellation and write him a message and let him know that the item already shipped. He in turn pitches an absolute fit. Tells me that he is going to report me to eBay, contact his credit card, the works.... This btw, is a $20 item. He is BRAND NEW to eBay, no feedback, been a member of eBay since June 24th, 2025. That's right.... he has been on eBay for one whole day. I have little doubt that he is going to leave me a negative feedback, which ebay will not remove no matter what I'm sure. So frustrating.
