boosting our ads
How do we know that boosting our ads is really working? Last time I tried it not a single additional view happened.

·3 years agoYou need to measure the "ads" success by impressions. If impressions are up, but views remain flat, then the "ad" is doing the job but the listing needs either a better title, better 1st photo or just plain better interest for the item.

·3 years ago"How do you know its working? - Well when you sell something, if you are using the"recommended promoted rate"(not sure what witchery is used to come up with that), then you will be pay an additional 7% to 10% in fees above the normal fees - Thats how you know - In effect, agreeing to pay 25% to 35% or even more of your items selling price in fees. Given the hard work, the time involved, the myriad of additional costs attributed to selling online and the EVER-increasing risks, I cannot for the life of me figure out how anyone would find this acceptable...

·3 years agoIt doesn’t work. I raise the rate and not even more impressions happen. You can review impressions in the marketing tab. Ebay is broken.

·3 years agoSign out and search your item just like a normal buyer would. See how far down the list your items are. Are you selling something with 300 or more of the same in competition with you? I check your georgie bag and yours is #12 of 17.

·3 years agoIt's "working" when the number of Promoted Impressions goes up, the purpose of Promoted Listings it to increase exposure (impressions), depending on the desirability of the item it MAY result in increased views and that MAY result in increased sales.
