Blocked buyer continues to change eBay user id
A buyer didn't pay for the same item twice, so I blocked him. A week later the same items sells (and paid for) to a new buyer with an account opened that day. When I go to print the label I notice the name on the address is the same guy just blocked... Would rather not sell to this person but is that petty? What would you all do?
- ship it and hope for the best
-go down the worm hole with Ebay CS on the multiple user ids?

Would depend on the Value of the item
(I can guess the reason you blocked in the first place- buyer didn't pay)

Block new buyer acct
Report buyer to ebay for deliberately trying to circumvent your block of him

·3 years agoYup, I'd have shipped it. I don't block Non payers (except by policy if they have 2 strikes, reminds me to check the policies on this new acct.) but I block any problem children. Once is enough.

1) What is the item/dollar value?
2) Why did I block him in the first place?

·3 years agoNo, it is not petty. This is business. You decided not to sell to this person for sound financial reasons. It is your store. I think that I would have blocked this buyer also and I would not relent because almost all of my buyers are amazingly fabulous; I treasure them and I don't need to add bad drama and financial loss to my life.

·3 years agoThis happened to me a few months ago. I forgot to enable "require immediate payment" on my listing for a camera.
I had a buyer who did not pay, I canceled order wrote him a you did not pay message and relisted. Same buyer with similar username made an offer I declined and blocked and wrote him another message . Same buyer finally buys my item and pays under yet another similar user name but this time he apologies and gave me the I didn't check my email excuse. Oh I raised my price by 30% since I priced my item too low the first time
This guy has at least 3 Ebay accounts with the same 4 letters but different last 4 numbers.
I accepted his apology and shipped it out. It was only a $40 camera.
The only problem I got was the buyer spent 3 days before the first attempt to buy messaging me with questions that were answered in my listing. And he asked how to open the battery compartment (Genius) 3 days after it arrived.
After that, never heard from him again.

·3 years agoI would ship it with tracking. I have done tracking with very cheap items just for this type of incident. New account with no feedback is scary but it is a sale. And I would not do emails back and forth on this to the buyer.
CS will not really be much to do about this later in life.

·3 years agoIf I understand correctly, someone bought an item and when he didn't pay, you canceled for non-payment and blocked.
Then same buyer with new ID (but same name and address) bought and paid.
Since he paid, I'd ship the item but report the buyer for circumventing your block.

·3 years agoebay lets 0 feedback people keep bidding and not not paying and they the only way is list with fixed price instant payment.my reply is you sell the way you want but let me sell the way i want. as i have said before that would solve the problem. it would not effect any other people who sell on ebay.

You might want to try listing as fixed price buy it now set to require payment right away. Also, many buyer like it better as they don't have to wait for auctions to end. You know, they want it yesterday.
