·1 week agoSince I list only Fixed price listings, any day is good.
If you are going to do auctions, Enter them on a day that YOU will be available the next week to handle any sales and/or buyer questions before auctions close.
When I use to run auctions, I always posted them on Sunday. And not after about 3 or 4 my time [west coast] so that they didn't end too late for those on the other side of the country. But also not too early so as to mess with Church or family stuff.

·1 week agoSpeaking only on BIN listings, I have run various tests using the schedule feature to roll out listings at various times. For example, I once did 30 listings, one every hour, for 30 hours. I cannot say doing that had any notable impact. I could list 30 items right now or 30 items over the next 30 hours and I'd still probably get 5 or 6 sales over that 30 hour period. If you are motivated to list, list. It won't sell if you don't list it. Listing is literally the job.

For Buy It Now items, the best time to list is right now, the worst time is to list later.

·1 week agoThere is some research that suggests for auction type listings the best time for them to end is 5-10PM on a weekend night. Working backwards the best time to list is 7 days earlier at the same time.

The best time to list is Right About Now O'Clock.

·1 week agoif you are selling BIN and listing good till canceled..., why would it matter? Yesterday would have been the best time/day! the sooner you get it out there, the sooner its seen and purchased! Auctions are another story, it depends on when You want the item to end.
