Below Standard Rating
I was out of state working and put my store on vacation for 2 months in between months it went back open and I sold a few items and a few items sold that I wasn’t able to send out so I put unavailable. It has been 4 months in the 4 months I have been listed as Below Standard and I have sold a lot of items with not one issue, so I can’t promote. I have always been Above Standard. I feel EBay should evaluate each month . Not penalize for so long. I’m an above standard seller.

·5 months agoYou "put unavailable"? Unsure where/how you did that, but that's not the way to handle the situation when you're unable to fulfill your obligations to buyers.

·5 months agoTime Away (vacation) is only available for 30 days at a time, though you can re-enable it immediately when it ends (most sellers away for a longer time like that will either end it manually and then immediately re-enable it, which leaves only a small gap of time where purchases might be possible, or do as @bonanza125 suggested and just end their listings and relist when they get back). I can't tell if you set it for 30 days and thought you set it for longer, or if it was during a gap between it ending and you enabling it again that the items sell, but eBay does not grant exceptions for issues like that.
I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to promote, though. Chances are that's just saving you money that wasn't worth spending.
eBay does evaluate your seller level every month, but not based solely on the previous month.

To make sure we're getting a fair picture, we'll adjust how far we look back (the "evaluation period") depending on how much you've sold recently:

·5 months agoDefects stay on for a year. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. What you should've done which is recommended is whenever you go on vacation for months end your listings and then relist them whenever you get back. Ebay does evaluate each month however you made a mistake and now you are paying for it. Yes I understand you consider yourself an above standard seller that can be true but in the eyes of Ebay you are no longer.

·5 months agoWhen it comes to selling on ebay, you are personally responsible when something goes wrong due to your own negligence.
You will have to play by the same rules that the rest of us do, when it comes to restoring your good name.
