Bad Buyer Experience
Hello, can somebody pls explain me what to do in this situation: I have received today eBay's Bad Buyer Experience.Listings ended, selling is restricted. I do not understand why. 97. 8% of feedback are positive. I have found one negative feedback since last 12 month related with item I never sold (not working lamp, I do not sell lamps). There is no ways as I see to contact normal assistance, only robots are answering in the chat. What to do? Whom can I contact regarding this Bad Buyer Experience? And is it possible in general to fix such situation or I would not be able to sell at Ebay anymore?

·2 years agoEBay doesn't use feedback to assess member accounts.
Less than 40% of transactions get any FB and most is left by sellers.
And eBay considers FB to be an expression of opinion.
However.
In my experience, neg FB is left by unhappy buyers who are unable to work out how to open Disputes. Which means that neg FB hides a lot of unhappy buyers who did open Disputes or Claims.
Not answering those leads to Defects.
And eBay does assess accounts based on Defects.
Slow shipping is also held against sellers. (Not slow delivery though, since that is between buyer and seller and covered by INR claims.)

·2 years agoSeems like you fit the reasons BBE was created, items not arriving or arriving late because you are not in the US.
No reason to contact Customer Service. The automated processing cannot be over ridden by them.
The number of sellers on Ebay has surged due to economic hard times all over the world, as has fraud from every nation, including the US. This is an attempt to stop a source of buyer dissatisfaction with minimal effort.

·2 years agoSince you're registered in Lithuania, I don't know how you'd get in contact with a live eBay agent. Normally I wouldn't even recommend it, but you probably can't do anything else. Maybe try chatting them via Facebook or X, but I think those are intended for US sellers primarily, so I don't know if they can help or not.

Click the Message button on either link (don't post publicly) and try chatting there. I think both have moved to AI responses at first, so type "Agent" to try and get a live reply.

OP2 years agoPeople, and my last question if there is any way to check if account was suspended forever? What I see in their message is :
(a) Your selling privileges are restricted. Consequently, you will not be able to create new listings or revise any listings that are currently live on any eBay sites; and
(b) Your listings have been ended; and
(c) Your payouts have been on hold.

·2 years agoThat sounds (to me) like the restriction is going to be permanent.
"97. 8% of feedback are positive."
Unlike in school, on ebay, 97% is not good.
"I have found one negative feedback since last 12 month related with item I never sold (not working lamp, I do not sell lamps)."
I'm seeing 3 negative feedbacks (just in the last 12 months). The buyer who referred to a lamp appears to have posted to the wrong seller. You might contact and request that the buyer add a comment to the feedback that it was done in error.
There are also 9 neutral feedbacks, most of which are for no shipping or very late shipping. (Why you'd require a signature on a $16 item is beyond me!)

Sorry for you frustration. Unfortunately it only takes a few BBE's for eBay to re consider you selling privileges. 97% feedback may be good in high school, but not on eBay. Since BBE does not apply for sellers here in the US, You may be better served by logging out of ebay.com and logging back into ebay.com/uk/ or eBay.com/de.
Here's a community forum link that may be helpful:

Good luck getting the help and advice you need.

OP2 years agoThank you very much! I think that what seems to be bad thing may turn to the best thing 😉 I'll have a lot of free time now 😄 And if Ebay have restricted my account because of 3% of neutral and negative feedback when half of them customers left due to mistake or due to not accurate checking where is my shop located so they restriction it's even not painful for me then:) I receive every day such warm and kind messages regarding quality of the items, so I would suppose Ebay to evaluate quality of their work to the level I achieved during these years spent here according to my customers messages 😄

·2 years agoSo a BBE experience generally covers things like Item Not Received claims, Item Not As Described claims, and even I think Returns (for any reason, basically). Feedback is not included, we just look at that as an indicator of the types of BBE marks you might have gotten. How many claims have you had, whether they were resolved in your favor or not?
To see that, check your Seller Dashboard.

OP2 years agoYes it was 2 claims re item not received, and after 2 days it was received (I saw tracking I have contacted support and they closed both cases. But my main question is how can I contact Ebay assistant (not AI autoreply) as I have spend today several hours and didn't found any ways to contact human.

Users in the US are not subject to the BBE rules, so you may not get much information here on the US boards. You can read about the program here, and in the section "How are you being evaluated?" there is a link to view your own seller dashboard/performance.

·2 years agoYou've had some unhappy buyers and 97.8% isn't good.
If it's permanent, there's nothing to fix and you'll have to sell some other place.

OP2 years agoHow can I know if this is permanent o not? I do not see this information in email that I received from Ebay.

·2 years agoUnited States has different standards...we do NOT have BBE. You should ask you question on EBAY website for your country.
Good luck to you...

OP2 years agoWould you be so kind to explain where can I ask? I have spent 2 hours today looking for assistence, and system forward me or to FAQ or to autoreply.

OP2 years agoUnhappy buyers in 99% are blind:) One negative review regarding items I even do not sell, one negative review since a several years ago as I remember regarding item that buyer thought is included (was stated at the top and the bottom of description that it's not for sale), one negative review last year regarding not received item before arrival terms (my location is not USA, he thought that parcel will arrive in several days, again blind buyer).

·2 years agoAre you referencing the Neutral feedback left in regards to not being aware they need to sign for the package upon delivery?
kuklafashion
OP2 years agoThank you very much for your reply. I never contacted and never informed buyers that they need to sign for the parcels as most of parcels do not require signature at all. Is it possible that due to this neutral review and one negative review related even not with my item is the reason for Bad Buyer Experience?
chevymontecarlo88
·2 years agoI was mainly responding to the feedback i noticed and should of at least let you know the response was not directly answering your post. I am not sure if that is the reason or not. I would of thought Ebay would of sent you an email for the reason removing your listings.
Just a note on your feedback and selling practice of requiring a signature upon delivery.
I can tell from experience, if you do require signature for delivery, it is wise to list it in your description and message the buyer after they purchased to make sure they are aware.
