BAckup bidders? Is there away to find?
Guy wins the bid and the sale eventually gets cancelled due to non-payment so is there a way to find the backup bidder and offer item to them at their high bid? Happens twice in 2 weeks, don't need to keep putting items out that do not get paid for?

·3 years agoI agree with @stainlessenginecovers about changing to BIN rather than using auctions. I know you have been doing this a long time but the majority of your winning bids are just one bid so why not do BIN with immediate payment so you don't have to deal with deadbeats. The trend in these posts lately seem to be more and more sellers are experiencing buyers who do not pay.

·3 years agoUsed to be a time when you could offer the 'next highest bidder' a '2nd chance offer'; I'm not sure as I don't do Auctions- but I posted because I would suggest this
Quit doing Auctions. Do 'Buy It Now' with 'Immediate Payment Required'. I haven't had a 'non paying bidder in 12 years (because they have no choice)

·3 years agoSecond Chance Offers are still an option, as noted in the link in the other post. A SCO can be offered to any underbidder; it doesn't have to be the highest one. However, members can opt out of receiving SCOs, so you might find that none of your underbidders are interested in receiving one.
