Avoiding being scammed when selling military memorabilia
How would one selling authentic military memorabilia (like patches) avoid having buyers claiming that the item is a replica (or simply returning a replica for a refund) and returning a replica of your authentic item and claiming a refund? It would end up being your word against the buyers unless there is something I missed.

·3 years agoI think you are worry about something that has a 99.99% chance of never happening. With that said there is no way to stop a buyer from trying to steal a patch from you.

·3 years agoMost buyers are honest. That said, there is little if anything you can do to deter that possibility, especially since I assume there aren't serial numbers on most of your patches. You just have to bake in some amount of wiggle room for loss as a possibility. Any retail store has to deal with that too.
