Is there a way to set up auto replies beyond Time Away? I would like to set up an auto reply that tells my buyers When I will be available to respond to Questions etc... (Store Hours). As I plan on disconnecting from online / phone more to spend better time with Family and friends.

Beyond time away I know of no "auto response" provisions, but then there is a lot that I don't knowðŸ˜‚

Set an automatic response

You can set up an automatic response for buyers who contact you through eBay Messages during your time away. Here's how:

Go to Time away settings.
Select Automatic response.
Select Message when on time away.
Set a Start date and End date for your message.
Type your message in the Automatic response box.
Select Apply.

Once you've set up your automatic response, any buyers who contact you will receive a message letting them know when you're back.

Set Time Away, hide your listings and enjoy some â€˜meâ€™ time.

I get that I'm Just trying to make it shift work. It's my own issue that I feel the need to respond and fix problems right away. So was hoping to leave an automated response like a phone answering machine.

@stuff4divas But they OP said "beyond Time Away". They don't want to put their items on Time Away.

@shipwrekd69 IDK of any way to do it outside of Time Away short of maybe coding something yourself via your email provider.

No there is no way to do that.

You could just reply during the hours you want BUT if buyers dont get answers they will move on to other sellers.

Most buyers dont wait around for answers.

I think that most buyers will expect that the seller responds within 24 hours. Having an auto reply message that you might take longer than the buyer expects wonâ€™t change his expectations.
