Auto Pay
I do not see the purpose of this new auto pay system in effect. I sold an item on Sept 28, and the note says that it will be auto paid on Oct 5. Why has Ebay now allowed buyers to wait for 7 days before paying? It really slows down the whole process. And, if he doesn't pay, I have lost a whole week with this item waiting to be shipped. I can see allowing maybe two or three days, but seven?

·1 week ago@fallgold4031 This happened because you have Combine Shipping settings. That setting, in regards to auctions only, will give buyers up to 7 days to shop your listing and then combine the shipment to save money on shipping charges. This is a newer rule, but obviously an important one to be aware of.
If you don't want buyers to have this option, then remove your Combined Shipping settings in your Site Preferences. While I do not run auctions anymore, I don't have this set up in my Site Preferences, but I do offer combined shipping to my buyers by giving them instructions in each of my listings. It has worked for years for me. However, on Auctions I can see where this may not work too well.

·1 week agoAnother way to look at it, you could have not sold it and still had to wait a week or more to sell it. Pretty sure that just because the item was showing that they had a week to pay does not mean that they couldn't pay sooner.

·1 week agoGo to your preferences and turn off the auto-combine shipping settings. That will eliminate this 7 day nonsense.

·1 week agoForgot to say, it won't work retroactively on this current sale, but future ones.
