Auction winner
A buyer won a public auction. What happens after 48 hours and the buyer does not pay for their winnings? Can the buyer cancel the win?

·2 years agoNothing happens after 48 hours but after 96 hours plus 1 minute, you can cancel for non-payment if the buyer hasn't yet paid.
For future listings if you want to avoid nonpaying bidders, stop having auctions and list your items at fixed prices (BIN) with IPR (immediate payment required).

·2 years agoOnly the seller can actually cancel the listing. But a buyer can request a cancellation of the sale from the seller. If one’s buyer does make the request, it is generally in the seller ‘s better interests to comply with the buyer’s wishes. It is rarely a good idea to try to force an unwanted item on a buyer who has changed their mind.

·2 years agoYou really should read up on how selling works on eBay. They have comprehensive help pages that explain the process.

·2 years agoYou may also wish to set up your site preferences so that buyers with X strikes / year / month can't buy from you.

No... a buyer can't cancel.

·2 years agoAfter 4 days of non payment, you cancel the transaction with the reason buyer did not pay. This issues the buyer a strike; 2 of these in a year will keep them from bidding/making offers. Then you can relist the item. You can block the buyer if you wish: https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/BuyerBlock?
