Auction cancelled per buyer request
I recently held an auction and after the auction was over the buyer that won the auction contacted me and asked me if there’s any way that we could cancel the sale . By me being an understanding person and I know someone’s situation may have changed from the time they made their bid. I agreed to cancel it. Then he proceeds to message me and says never mind, but I had already canceled the auction and he left a bad review. Will Ebay remove that when they see that he asked to cancel the auction?

That should be a valid reason for it to be removed. Just keep the explanation on that form simple, and you can reference the policy: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-policies/feedback-policies?id=4208#section3

·6 months agoDid you cancel with the reason "Buyer requested?" What I would suggest you to do is file an appeal through the system and have your feedback and situation reviewed. Ebay has removed feedback for cancellations especially if the buyer requested to cancel. Keep in mind there is no guarantees that Ebay will remove the feedback though and your feedback can still stand.

·6 months agoThat's why I always tell the buyer the request needs to come from the ebay system - to go into the order and use the pull down for the cancellation.
You should just go through the motion and let us know how Ebay helps the Sellers. From other posts on this board, you would need to go through another website like twitter or facebook to get service.
