They have learned to bypass that pitfall. It shows "with shipping partner" and will not show shipping from China. Likely they use a reship service here in the states to keep up the charade.
Some sellers DO warehouse items here in the US. Most do not. Whenever you see "shipping partner" it's code for being express shipped from China. It will take 7-21 days to get here and get handed off to USPS. I give every one of these sellers negative feedback. Just be honest, and there would be no issue as far as I am concerned. I do not like when a listing says USA seller, then it's drop shipped from china.

As far as returns go, I only return something because it's NAD. If something does not hold up or whatever, I eat that as a loss, since I was the one who decided to buy something of lesser quality. INAD returns do not concern me, as far as returns go, because that is a seller problem. Just like when I used to ship international. If the sellers return address is China, they better figure it out or just refund. Not my problem as a buyer. Just like when I was a seller internationally, it was MY problem. Now, it's probably not such an issue since eBay changed international shipping. But the China sellers are diverting that system. They are drop shipping, which according to policy, should get them banned.

I've had a few, that are shipped by Amazon. I got no beef with that.
However, I can assure you, there are many sellers from China drop shipping. They are operating like aliexpress does. Sellers have deals with wholesalers and manufactures, that ship as they sell products. Aliexpress is pretty much all drop shippers making a cut selling someone else's product.
No, they all are not drop shipping. There are even some sellers that are just like most folks here, finding stuff to resell, and are directing the sales mostly at US buyers. However those are few and far between. By and large, most sellers in this situation are drop shipping. The vast majority of - sold from China or "US SELLER" stuff is actually drop shipping.
This is one that comes up occasionally, but I find interesting how it pops up and then suddenly didappers.
A brushing scam is a fraudulent scheme where e-commerce sellers send unsolicited packages to people and then post fake positive reviews on their behalf as a way to boost their ratings on Amazon, eBay, or another online marketplace.
But according to WUSA, Smith's incident is more likely linked to a different kind of vendor scheme, one that involves sellers trying to remove unsold merchandise from Amazon fulfillment centers.

Not that I recall regarding any actual warehouse being built or leased by eBay. There was a post once on the Seller Board back then where an eBay employee was asking for "power sellers" to partner with sellers in China (who shipped from China) as dropshippers where they (eBay) would ensure that there would be an eBay representative on hand (in China) to make sure of the quality of the products sent or something of the sort.
The response was IMMEDIATE and CONTINOUS OUTRAGE and the discussion was pulled within ten minutes. The "opening up" was basically a mess with too many sellers of "vapor" who got their required ten feedback by selling computer "wallpaper screens" to each other for a few cents. Sellers were indeed sick of those sellers who gave the whole eBay site a bad rep.
Given the cheap shipping from China, it actually makes zero sense for offshore sellers to house their stuff here (after they pay to ship it by the container load) and then have to pay domestic prices to ship it within the US.
For that reason I don't believe they actually do that.
When I see a seller who is located in China and selling items from the alleged "warehouses they own" in the US, I would never consider purchasing. China is known for selling poorly manufactured, not to mention unauthentic merchandise on this selling site. Drop shipping has ruined internet selling platform in my opinion. I would be honest and tell the customers exactly where their items are coming from. Honesty with customers is no#1. If you can't provide that honesty to them, you or whomever shouldn't sell on eBay or any other site. Again, JMO.

You want to judge governance of nations by all means... America has caused more problems in the world than just about any nation in history in a far shorter time. The lifestyles here we now enjoy came at the expense of others, Irish were in the mines living horror lives, Italians were considered Europe's worst folks here, Chinese built the Railroad tracks that afforded the boom times and were treated absolutely terrible. Native Americans are still treated terrible. America enslaved people and to this day have not gotten past it more or less addressed repairing the harm done and that which continues.
China, well, they've they had their issues to however the China that exists now is "Never Again" as more Chinese were tortured, massacred and then some than ANY other peoples of ANY other nation in World War II by huge measure no less.
Judge governments, ok... Judge people? Well... I know a quite few people who came here from China in recent generation. They tend to be far more family oriented, like no comparison. They are kind, hard working, non-judgemental and over President "What's his name" were living in literal fear yet they are more honest than most any American I know or have known and I've known a ton.
We went to a wedding few years back perhaps 75 thereabouts Chinese Americans there most first generation here. The question I've heard the most from Chinese people (paraphrasing) is "Why do Americans say one thing and the next moment are filled with hatred."
Hard question answer but I told them straight out, "Because most Americans now live in the moment and thats why they are constantly angry, judge, jury and executioner."
Most dont have the money to live past three months and thats by choice of lifestyle. Americans cause their own stress that they so hate trying to maintain a lifestyle which in itself is stress filled.
All that aside, the Nation of China has done nothing at all different than America has done in its past. That's the truth.
You'll hear allot of "Oh America can compete with any nation in the world. We've the best workers in the world!"
The former only stands true when nations compete on our terms, you don't hear people talk about competing on other nations terms, not ever. That would cost lifestyles here and is EXACTLY where we are headed. The latter once upon a time was true but no longer. Most folks don't like working, dont like their jobs, dream of winning the lottery so they can ramp their lifestyles up that much further.
Lifestyle is America's problem... All the way back in the 1980's handfuls of very notable scholar think tanks projected what we are living right now. That it will take no foreign bad actors for American to fall, it will fall from within due to unsustainable lifestyles in an ever emerging world.
1/6 is a prime example of what happens when democracy fails, it tends fall towards Fascism. There's a funny thing about that historically time and time and time again. Those who support upheaval are the first to suffer under it... Their nationalism is a tool that is used but once power is fully seized they are the ones who go off and die in wars, they are the ones who disappear or families disappear. The reason is simple, they have expectations and thus pose the largest threat to said power and must be minimized.

Most I have observed use the US port of entry as the item location, when indeed it is not where the item is located. I have seen others that claim that they work with a "US Partner" but occasionally (in reality always) may ship directly from the manufacturer (who surprisingly is always in China).
Do you happen to know where any of these "warehouses" are located?

The moment I see "USA SELLER" or "USA SHIPS" or an AMERICAN FLAG, I now hit the back-arrow because I figure the seller is in China, the item will ship from China, and if there's a problem there will be the well-practiced run-around delaying tactics until the MBG expires.
I was fooled only once, and that was some time ago, but based on what I read on these forums others are fooled constantly by this faked location nonsense, which grows worse all the time.

Have a look at Temu, tens of thousands (if not 100's of 1000's) of Chinese based sellers, millions of items and everything is stocked in Long Beach and shipped from there.

I just placed an order with Temu, and every items I ordered, came from China. Delivered at the US end by UPS. Not one things came from a US warehouse. Maybe a few things do ship from one, just like with Aliexpress. But mostly everything ships from China.

All sellers not just those in China, are supposed to accurately state items location in the listing. However, sellers in China will often state their item is in some state in the US while their return address is in China making it difficult for buyers to return.

I check all feedback in regards to any problems this particular seller might have.
I also check the item where it is being shipped.
And I check the time frame for item to be received.
And also the cost of shipping with tracking.
Never do impulse buying.
