I told y'all weeks ago this would be the worst year ever. We're in a stagflation. Inflation plus high interest rates. People's budgets are in the tank. The Fed announced this week it's keeping interest rates at their current high but "may" lower them next year. The only people doing well are the rich. All you can do is lower prices to rock bottom. If not, you'll sell very little because people don't have the money to buy stuff. They simply don't.
People seem to be spending plenty and economic signs are solid.
I think they're just not buying what a lot of people are selling. Times and tastes change, particularly after the pandemic. Experiences rather than 'stuff'. I'm pretty typical working class, saving my money for experiences rather than stuff.
ETA: Not to mention the boom in sellers online - competition if nothing else is affecting sales.

Yea I see more and more influences to be “minimalistic†all around me. So probably that’s where the masses are headed. Clutter has a stigma now.

Yet some sellers report having poor sales on ebay , but report doing very well elsewhere.
Mine have been sporadic from October to now. I ran a Holiday Sale with 25% off and sold about a dozen items, but the majority of my listings are still waiting to be sold. I sent a newsletter to my past customers, followers and subscribers, but I saw only one repeat customer. If buyers are not buying items with 25% off all inventory, then I don't know what they want. Even watchers are still watching and not buying.
I am considered Top Rated and one of eBay's most reputable sellers, which is another reason why I can't understand buyers not wanting my items.
I am not expecting any sales between now and Christmas because the deadline for Ground Advantage is December 16 for Christmas delivery, which is in two days.
I plan to keep going for another month to see if sales pick up in January. After that, I don't know. Few sales with a 25% off discount - I was hoping to clean out my inventory with that.
Going week by week isn't a great idea because of sales fluctuations. Also, I don't expect supplements are a big seller right now, but after Christmas should be picking up - especially after New Year.

·2 years agoGiven what you sell, I would expect your sales to go up in the New Year. Is that what has happened in the past for you?
