"Listings that offer an opportunity to win an item by chance or contest are not allowed. This includes mystery boxes, giveaways, lotteries, sweepstakes, random drawings, raffles, and contests."
This is not right. I was going to have a raffle to win a trip to stay with @inhawaii like Thomas Magnum living at Robin Masters' estate. 😂😂😂😂 On inhawaii's dime, of course. 😛
You mean like "mystery boxes"? Not really, because the seller is required to list and describe every single item in the box, thus making it not really much of a "mystery" at all.
Why do you ask? Thinking of listing such? Or buying one?

No, neither. I don't have the money to blow. But I saw one listed, and I wondered. So I thought to ask this very intelligent community. And got great educated answers. To me, it feels like you're opening a gigantic can of worms, and 99% chance of something going wrong on either side. For all we know, the mystery item could literally be a gigantic can of worms. And unless you're a gardener or a fisher, I don't see that helping anybody.
