Are my prices too low?

I had a boon of high sales last month and now no sales at all for longer than a week and a half. I noticed other sellers with like items doing great with higher prices than mine. It seems strange to have lots of sales and offers then nothing, has anyone else noticed this trend? I try to promote most of my items and offer free shipping when I can but things just are not moving now, this seems to coincide with rising gas prices and inflation? This is hard to understand for me. Any ideas to get selling again would be greatly appreciated!

As a Buyer, i do like you have pictures of the stones on a scale and some includes a ruler for scale. If you want to set yourself from others that list here, the first picture could be more of a glamour shot. Get creative and/or use a background remover to have viewers have no choice (make is desirable to view) but click your listing. You may want to start with the higher end listings first. Getting eyes on the listing is key and usually if the picture from the search stands out from the rest, there is a good chance for a view.

Others pointed out that filling out specifics and descriptions help buyers find (Item specifics) your item while understanding exactly what your listing. (Descriptions)

Looks like you do a great job already so tweaking your listings just may be what you need.

Hi Richard-

Every time you post on this forum I always look at your shop. You have some lovely specimens, especially the Bolivian amethyst...my birthstone, Gorgeous! I would say your prices are pretty competitive. I would work on my descriptions and perhaps be a little more detailed. I'm an old rock hounds from way back and I can say that you've got some really nice items and wish the best for you. If you had some that had holes for stringing/jewelry making I'd be your new best customer. Oh well.
