Appeal for Review – Indefinitely Restricted Account (Since 2016)
Hi everyone,
My eBay account has been restricted from selling since around 2016. I recently contacted support and was told there is no record of the original reason anymore because it was so long ago. They also said they can’t reinstate it.
I currently have no unresolved cases, unpaid balances, or visible violations. I’m trying to find out if anyone has been in a similar situation and successfully had their account reviewed or reinstated.
Any advice on how to get a manual review from Trust & Safety would be greatly appreciated.

·8 months ago@ole-kech Sorry, but when they tell you that you are done here as a seller, they mean it. There is no review. There is no changing of mind, no matter how many years ago it was. You should have done things right the first time.
Don't mean to come down on you - I mistakenly violated the terms on another platform because I went by what others did, instead of actually reading the rules on that platform. I was banned - permanently - and rightfully so. That was completely on me. There is no coming back from it. The same is true for you here on eBay.
The good news is there are many other platforms you can sell on. There are many, many people who do not sell on eBay, but are grossing 100k or more a year elsewhere. Do your homework. Read the rules. Start over elsewhere.
There are many reasons why people should want to sell on eBay, but by no means does not being able to sell on eBay mean that you cannot have great successes as a reseller elsewhere.
