Appeal a case why eBay , such a joke
I was 30 g short of gold pins because I forgot to tear the container that the Gold pins were in so I said to the seller instead of refunding the whole $92 or what it was I said I would fund to 30 of it because he was only 30 g short and he got 420 some of them so I was hooking him up Well I couldn’t refund the $30 because eBay had my funds on hold so they decided to step in and refunded them the whole $91 now I lose out on all 420 g of pins plus the $91. why didn’t they just refund the $30 that we agreed on that was in my eBay account they could see it clearly that we both agreed on the $30 why are they refunding the whole $91 and then he had to pay two dollars in shipping fee when the post office got there because eBay sent me the wrong label to print it’s a joke they take all your money it’s ridiculous yeah screw up. Why would they do that? I was hooking up and they completely screwed me over the one that’s making them all there ffffffing money now the case is closing I’m trying to appeal it and it keeps going to a blank screen. Can anyone help me here I’m not trying to be rude or anything but this is kind of ridiculous. I don’t have funds floating all over the place they’re holding for sales of mine to finishes appeal but I can’t pay it because they’re holding my funds but you can’t get a hold of anybody. You can’t talk to one person you talk to some automated text help what is the millions of people don’t have jobs in the world. You don’t think I can get somebody to answer the effing phone and then I tried calling the phone number and I got scammed trying to do that too but they can’t handle that they can’t handle that either. They can’t take care of that. They can’t get that number taken away. They can’t do that either thank gos I didn’t give them any of my fffffing information.

·2 years agoYou need to add a backup funding source to cover any refunds not covered by your avaliable funds.

·2 years agoI hope I'm understanding your rant.
You're the seller so you offered the BUYER a partial refund which they appear to have agreed to.
Since your funds were on hold, you could have had the partial to through, funds would come from your backup source and once the held funds became available, you'd get them.
But instead, you let the request time out and didn't send the partial refund and the buyer had to ask ebay to step in.
And as such, the buyer got a full refund and got to keep the item. To add salt to your wound, you also got a huge defect to your account for not resolving the complaint.

·2 years agoSo did your buyer open a Return request, citing 'Not as Described' and you offered a $30 refund through the Return case? If your buyer had accepted the partial refund amount, the case would have closed on its own with the partial refund. Something doesn't add up.

Thank you for the info. Yes, @perkcity215, it's very important to be proactive with your sales. Always go before eBay can.

OP2 years agoI meant to say I’m trying not to be rude I’m not trying to be rude but it’s just a ridiculous. The sale was for $130 and I get $90 out of it. Actually I got nothing out of it but they got their cut out of it. It’s such a joke,
