App no longer displays estimated shipping costs

Just within the past 24 hours at some point the app must have updated. While building a listing, there is no range of estimated shipping costs displayed. This would be absolutely catastrophic to me to the way I list and sell items. No longer displaying what I or my buyers expect to pay for shipping on an item would make it essentially impossible to continue selling on this platform. Many times shipping costs are more than the item's value. Shipping prices have risen frequently just in the past 12 months and seasonal shipping rate increases are just a month or two away. Ebay says the only way to see shipping costs is by using its shipping calculator. That's great but I don't have a Time Machine to look into the future and know what zip code my buyer is going to be in. I've never posted here before but I'm hoping I'm just missing some critical step in getting this feature back. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

·2 weeks agoI've never used the app to list and don't use the Ebay shipping calculator to estimate what shipping will be.
I always ship USPS and I just go to their site and see what its going to cost to ship an item to the East or West coast, then decide on my shipping charge.

OP2 weeks agoSo I get that. But just as an example I took an items dimensions and weight and calculated to the two following zip codes - 90210 and 10001. California and New York. The price was either $30 or $60. My cost. So not knowing where my customer will purchase from what do I need to set my shipping cost to? What shipping price does my customer see if I just used the buyer pays actual shipping feature? If I’m selling a $100 item and I want to ship it for free then I either make $70 or $40 depending on who grabs it. The estimated shipping cost to buyers feature in the app was absolutely critical to me for pricing items.

·2 weeks ago · EditedThe customers sees whatever shipping cost to the location they are in which is calculated for them. So if an item is being shipping to the west coast that would be different that say cost to the east coast. It automatically adjusts to that location which includes rural areas. Now you made a comment that is important to address. If an item is bulky that I wouldn't recommend doing free shipping because yes cost will be way different in compared to say an item which is 5 oz. I have free shipping on a lot of my items because it's easier to combine without worrying about refund shipping in addition to costs are close to the same except rural areas.
