ANyone know how to get transaction history from 2020-May 2021? And 1099-K from 2020?
I downloaded my transaction history but it only goes back to June 2021.
Does anyone know how to transaction details for before June 2021?
I am looking for January 2020-May 2021.

·1 year agoThe eBay transaction reports only go back to the time you entered Managed Payments. For transactions prior to that you must get the information from PayPal. The PayPal records are available for seven years so you should still be able to access 2020. The same applies to a 1099K but you don't need that to file a tax return you can just use the sales information you can get from PayPal to determine your gross sales for that period.

OP1 year agoThanks for the replies. I see 1099-K’s for 2021-2024, but not 2020. Maybe I didn’t sell enough for one from 2020? I’ll check my IRS transcript to see what eBay reported to them. Thanks again for the feedback.

·1 year agoYou would be correct. If it isn't there, they didn't issue you one. Keep in mind that Ebay was NOT your Money Processor for that entire year. Part of it would have likely been with PayPal as Ebay didn't start onboarding sellers until July of 2020. Unless you were in the Beta group.
Also remember that your sales would still need to be claimed, whether or not you were issued a 1099K.

You can go to the Seller Hub under the Payment Tab to get the 1099Ks that have been created for your account going back to 2020.
