Anyone else blocked from buying ShipCover insurance after filing a claim?

Last week I received a payment from ShipCover, the ebay shipping insurance provider for a claim that was filed last month for a package that arrived empty. (The first time I have filed a claim in years.) Interestingly, I have now tried to buy ShipCover Insurance twice since then when buying ebay postage. In both cases I got an error message from ebay saying there was a problem buying the postage and to try again later. After it happened the second time, I selected the supplemental USPS insurance option instead, and was able to print the postage on ebay with no problem. (The first time it happened I just used a shipping service on another site instead.)
Has anyone else had "technical issues" trying to buy ebay postage and selecting ShipCover insurance after receiving a payout from ShipCover?

·2 weeks agoI’m in the exact same boat. I had 1/43 items last month break and now I can’t buy shipcover insurance. It makes me so nervous because I’m selling more expensive items.

·3 weeks agoThe USPS rarely pays insurance claims. Buy your shipping labels through Pirate Ship and use their private insurance, if necessary.
