So, as someone who is signed up for the event, I received an email from eBay inviting me to submit a listing for review by the hosts of the upcoming monthly webinar. I filled out the form, submitted it, and this is the confirmation that appeared on my screen:

Well once again this thread disproves the commonly mIs-stated assumption that no one from eBay ever reads or responds to the community boards.

So, I'm very happy that they recorded my "Sumbition" form. And note they used Google Forms, which expressly states "This form was created inside of ebay Inc. Does this form look suspicious?" No, Google, it doesn't look suspicious, not at all. It looks like a typical ebay form...it WOULD look suspicious to me IF they had managed to spell submission correctly. LOL

In fact you could argue that it is TWO steps removed from being correct: a misspelling AND a typo all rolled into one.

Sumbition > Submition > Submission

I have seen wrong words which are homonyms of the right ones (such as 'witch' instead of 'which') caused by people dictating into smartphones and not bothering to proofread afterwards but this kind of mistake takes things to a whole 'nother level. 😆
