Another gosh darn thing to make me say adios to eBay
I am dealing with a very rude and beligerant buyer.
They are being suspicious. First asked where item was when I already gave them refund since envelope was returned for could not be delivered as addressed. Was the 20th of this month. Gave minus my shipping cost. Calling me a fraud saying I never mailed when tracking shows it did and showed being return tracking to me also! How to handle. Just got back from visiting cat cafe to try to cheer myself up now upset all over again!

·2 years agoYou are so lucky, a Cat Cafe. OMG I wish I had one of those close to me. What FUN !!!
Don't let this buyer get you down. They are just a bully. Make sure you put them on your Block Bidders List so you don't have to deal with them again. And then just report to Ebay the problem you are having with them about their emails. You can report them right from the email as long as you aren't on the new version. But if you are you can change back to the old version. [This was covered in today's Seller Update if you are interested on more info].
I simply would not put up with this. If it were me, I would report the emails and I'd actually contact Ebay and report them. But that is just me, you don't have to do both.
BTW, you should send them an email that is short, professional and polite. Something like:
I'm sorry this transaction did not work out for you. The item was returned due to not being deliverable to the address on your purchase. I have refunded you. Our transaction is complete. This should put this to rest. I wish you the best in the future.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

IMHO the best way to handle this is to make a conscious decision to stop letting complete strangers have that much control over your happiness.
There are 135 million buyers on eBay. That means roughly 67.5 million of them have below average intelligence 🙂

·2 years agoSelling items at that low of a price point is a digging in very hard ground. It can really attract some cranks, too - for some reason, instead of being happy they got something cool for a couple of bucks, some of these low dollar people just go off about everything. It's like they live in a famine world or something.
ETA: Those are really great scans!

·2 years agoA cat cafe to cheer you up? Naw, I'd go to the firing range.

·2 years agoJust think. A cat makes you feed it and clean up after it.
This cat had the crazies(every now and then) running around and ran into the bathroom and broke the toilet hitting it head on and creating a flood. End result....keep bathroom door shut.

Looks innocent...but I kid you not.

·2 years agoWe caught our two (sisters from the same litter), in the bathroom with the smaller sitting on the (closed, of course) toilet lid and the other taller one stretched up trying to work the handle. The tux sitting on the toilet would meow, and the other would bang on the handle. The tux would meow again and her sister would give another try at the handle. They finally gave up - fortunately, or we would have had to lock the bathroom because they'd be always in there, flushing the toilet and playing with the toilet roll.
As for OP's buyer - selling to the Public at Large requires a thick skin and good sense of the absurd. You're gonna get all kinds, some you cannot believe even know enough to keep breathing.

·2 years agoThis cat runs around everywhere in all rooms like someone is chasing him...ran into toilet and actually cracked it maybe head on. LOL.

·2 years agoOur manic tux would chase balls and bottle caps, ram her head right into the wall and just fly in another direction. You'd hear it go "boomp!"
She DID break our old lino floor, though - after she drank from her water bowl she'd hit the edge of the bowl so it would flip upside down and throw water all over the place - it soaked into our old lino and cracks started spreading.
These cute purry little things can just be murder furballs.

·2 years agoMy only beef is if one of the children had to be naked for some reason, it would not be the calico; it would be one of those knucklehead orange marmalades. Also they would be obese. Yup, fat and shameless, that's "orange cat" in a nutshell.
The calico -she would be the mastermind who got this whole scene going, then dash to the corner to look all innocent when she hears Mom's heels coming down the hall.

·2 years agoMy ‘gosh darn thing’ is the legacy of worthless overpaid criminally incompetent corporate looter inbred idiot executives and board of directors that “manage†eBay and have created a legacy of seller predation and the worsening of an already inferior user experience. More 50 million dollar stock babysitter execuchimps please! They’re working out great for eBay!

·2 years agoSounds like a buyer I had from another country this year. LOL.
My buyer threaten to come after me...was from another country. And then the war broken out in his country. LOL. Guess he won't be coming after me. It was only a few dollars as well.
My buyer waited after 60 days to tell me item not delivered.

OP2 years agoStill my birthday for a few more hours. Cat Cafe was fun.

Ordered my bday dinner and cracked the hard liquor I need it after today!

·2 years agoIf you think confused or difficult buyers are something exclusive to eBay you would be wrong. This type of issue is something you will encounter in any type of retail, online or offline, eBay or any type of Marketplace or any stand alone website or B&M operation.

OP2 years agoI know it is not. Have a brother that does both and we swapped stories when doing fathers day/family birthdays.

·2 years agoWhat is wrong with people? That customer sure went ballistic...all that ugliness over some "card" he didn't receive. Some people are just miserable human beings.
I am sorry this happened to you (my kitty sends you a big hug). You should sit down and have a nice cup of tea and realize...this person is a ridiculous jerk. Let it go, Let it go, Let it go
deosil111
·2 years agoGood lord. It’s like self flagellation selling on this ridiculous platform now. Gotta be outta your mind trying to be an honest seller here
vintagecraze50
·2 years agoOH MY GOD. “HAVE A BLESSED DAYâ€. Well, you have a blessed B day and the buyer is not blessed by me.
If you already refunded the buyer just add to your blocked buyer list and be done with it.
Don't respond just block and delete. Make sure your buyer requirements are set to block messages as well.
