An Ebay ad/campaign manager/rep contacted me...
Back in november I got an email and then a phone call from ebay.
It was a promoted listing's manager or something who was trying to get me to set up and use offsite promotions.
We went through it and i set up a $5/day offsite promotion to feel it out.
She told me to set it for contineous because if I put an end date the system wont be able to learn or something
6 weeks past and i made 1 offsite sale.....
No thank you ebay!

·1 year agoI'm surprised you paid $5 a day for 6 weeks without any sales generated and didn't end the ad campaign sooner.
Is that the amount you budgeted and why you left a non-effective campaign running for so long?

OP1 year agoI honestly forgot abouy it untill i checked my payouts and was confused as to why my pay outs were so low after I sold my regular items that sell weekly.

·1 year agoOuch. I guess that's a good reminder for sellers:
When you activate a 'continuous' ad campaign, set a calendar alert or a scheduled send email reminder to self so you can check performance after X weeks.

216 for $20k (6 months) offsite.
Car parts.
Of course, most of that would have probably been there anyway...Maybe?
