Seems like you should start pushing this as a site-wide issue.
Seller hub / listings yesterday said I have 11,150 listings.
Seller hub / view your store I have only 10,463 listings.
That's 687 missing listings.
I do not do variable listings, I do not have listings with 0 stock.
Why the huge difference?

·2 years agoYour listing count is just that. How many listings you have. Your ITEMS for sale count in your store counts all the multiples. If you have a listing you have 10 of, it will count as 1 listing and as 10 items.

·2 years agoI don't have any multiples. Why is my count off?
mam98031
·2 years agoNo it doesn't. Quantity on a listing only matters in your Selling Limits. It has nothing to do with the number of listings you have.

·2 years agoBecause eBay has trouble writing programs that can count things.

·2 years agoIt used to be able to count. Not anymore lol.
Your display matches (for now) when I look. You said it was off by 2 on my post from a couple of weeks ago. Is the count off still?:
Mine is still off but by 3, not 2 anymore, and on a phone I should have 3 pages (25 items per page + a couple items on the third page) but I only have 2 pages worth of items and it says I only have 49 items total.
Even that is wrong - it shows 50 actual listings, says I have 49, and 2 are completely invisible. The items with the same lot count & title show up, but two others don't.
This is on a laptop using incognito mode and going to "view seller's other items":

·2 years agoYeah, it's still off. If you go to the bottom of my page that you screenshotted, and change the items per page from 60 to 240, the total corrects to 227, while the search bar still says 219. It keeps getting father off a little bit every day.

·2 years agoUnlikely to be the issue.
I know that part of the reason would be for those that use the OOS function for inventory. In our active listings, seen in the Seller Hub, it will still show those listings that are zero quantity as active. Those do not show in our Store number.

·2 years agoI have seen this discrepancy for years. At first I thought it had something to do with variation listings, but that can't be it as the difference isn't big enough.

·2 years agoAccording to a post in Report eBay Technical Issues, there is an existing ticket, but the person who posted it has not provided the ticket number and Devon was tagged several days ago.

I also made a post about the item count being off even though I don't have a store, a couple of weeks ago. Two different eBay employees were tagged, Elizabeth & Devon, by someone else in that post.

Since I have so few items listed, it's possible for me to see that some of my items are not showing up - you cannot see them if you try to view seller's other items - except for in Seller Hub. They're invisible.
@devon@ebay.com @elizabeth@ebay.com can you find the ticket number so we can ask to be added to it, please?
devon@ebay
Hey @ltldpr! As of this morning we have not seen a sitewide ticket open for this issue. We do have this reported and we will let you know if there is a sitewide ticket opened.

·2 years agoI'm seeing "1900+" and "search 1973" when I use view listings.....
Store shows 1973.........
what are you seeing?
nosworld
OP2 years agoCurrently showing 1819 in active listings while store showing 1973 items.

Some searches exclude some items.
I changed the default "Best Match" to "Price + Shipping: Lowest First" and I get the "1900+", but I also get a prompt to "Search all 1973 items"
