all my listings were removed
I had to stop trading on eBay for 5 months. I made all my listings inactive and started Time Away. Now, when I would like to get back to work, I can’t find my listings anywhere. I called customer support and some say the listings will appear in 24 hours, but nothing happens; others say the listings are lost forever and can’t be found anywhere.

·1 week agoThis is where reading the Policy page on Time Away would have really helped you. You can only use Time Away for 30 days. After that they will stay on the site for 90 days, in which during that time you would need to bring them active again or Ebay removes them. Unless you have your Site Preferences in Inventory set up to do OOS [out of stock], then you have six months. But if you want to use that in the future, make sure you understand what that setting actually does so you have no surprises.
Sadly you will have to re-create all those listings.
I feel your pain. Earlier this year I too was away for a few months. I used Time Away for the first 20 or 25 days, then I just ended all my listings as I have the OOS function on my listings. So they were all there when I returned and I just had to enter quantities again to get them to be active. I took that opportunity to do a full inventory too.

If you kept all the eBay emails saying “your item has been listed” - try clicking on the links. Occasionally, the listings are still on the servers and still visible. Maybe they are not relistable, but you can recopy them with copy/paste.
If you have a listing with multiples and some were previously sold - Take your exact title and type that into a google search plus “worthpoint” That is the quick way to see if your item is on that ebay history website and if it is, you’re in luck! You’ll have your description to copy and paste.
Long shot - If you use a laptop or tablet - Search your computer’s or tablet’s history to see if any are still cached.

·1 week agoCustomer service misunderstood or lied: your listings are never coming back. You'll have to recreate them from scratch.
There are third-party services that can save them, for future situations like that, but there's nothing you can do right now.

Space costs money.
There is a limited amount of time this site will allow you to take up that space.
You get 90 days (or 60?).
Either way, they are LONG gone!!
Start over.
