Account permanently restricted - documents submitted but not reviewed - need help
Summary: In a discussion regarding an account that has been permanently restricted, with documents submitted but not reviewed, participants express concerns and share insights about buying memory cards. albertabrightalberta noted that Adorama no longer stocks SanDisk models that the original poster (OP) was selling and speculated about other suppliers. Feedback revealed that the OP had interactions with a seller in China, which raised suspicions about the source of the items. iamalwaysright appreciated the heads-up about memory card authenticity, while chapeau-noir found the connection between Adorama and the items confusing due to Adorama's reputable standing. Overall, participants are trying to unravel the mystery behind the account restriction and the source of the products.
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.
My eBay selling account received an MC011 restriction. I sell genuine SanDisk memory cards purchased from Adorama, which is a well-known authorized retailer of SanDisk products in the United States.
I submitted all required documents through the eBay document portal including my purchase invoice, bank statement confirming the payment, and my government-issued ID. All documents clearly show items purchased, quantities, unit prices, and payment details.
Before my documents were even reviewed by the team, I received a permanent restriction notice. When I called eBay support twice, the first agent confirmed the documents had not been reviewed yet. The second agent said the restriction is permanent.
I genuinely believe this is an error because my documents clearly prove I source authentic products from a legitimate authorized retailer. I have never sold counterfeit items and all my buyers received their orders with valid tracking.
Has anyone experienced this situation and found a way to get the case properly reviewed by the right team?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

·4 months agoOn top of this the seller also has some obvious fake positive feedback.
"Seller delivers as described. Product is authentic and exceeds expectations. Other sellers do a switch and bait giving you poor quality. Seller also responds immediately to any concerns and shipping is faster than expected."
Real customers don't write things like that.

·4 months agoI went to Adorama's website and your price is $19.88 for a card that sells on Adorama for over $34. Plus you are paying eBay fees on that $19.88 card, and offering free shipping to boot.
eBay probably wonders how you can sell these at such a loss, and probably thinks your documentation does not accurately represent what you are selling.

Given the feedback left it sure seems like that wherever you got those memory cards they were counterfeit. That plus those 5 negs in a row were enough for ebay to PERMANENTLY ban you selling.
Good luck with your new selling venue.

·4 months agoIf your account is permanently restricted then you must find another selling platform to sell on. There is no coming back. Sorry.

If you find another platform on which to sell, you need to find a "supplier" who has authentic items or you'll find yourself in the same situation on another site.

·4 months agoAdorama no longer stocks any of the SanDisk models the OP sold.
Either they cleared all of them or the cards came from another source.
albertabrightalberta
·4 months agoI suspect another "supplier" also. I had previously checked the OP's feedback and found that over a year ago, the OP received several feedbacks from a seller in China. That seller sells similar items if not the same ones as the OP was selling.

·4 months agoI was wondering about the Adorama connection - I've purchased items from there and they are reputable - something wasn't adding up.

·4 months agoYour product performance tells a story that your proof of purchase does not challenge.
You may have bought some products from a retailer, but they need not have been the products you shipped to your unhappy buyers.
Retail arb is no longer as easy as it used to be.

·4 months agoYour buyers appear to disagree. In fact SD cards sold on Ebay have such a horrible reputation for fakes that I found this printed warning accompanying a recent purchase of a Rove dashcam:

·4 months agoFeedback doesn't count for anything, but your 5 negatives indicate problems with the disks....how you handled (or didn't handle) the problems could be the reason for the permanent restriction....
In any case, never heard of anyone coming back from a permanent restriction.......and frankly, no one on this board can help......
