A buyer or competitor, falsely reported 52 of my listings as counterfeit, I reported the personal attack on me to customer support, which instead of addressing the issue, ebay responded to my concerns, by banning the rest of my listings, locking my account, and holding my money hostage pending a review. As I proceeded with the review, I uploaded thousands of dollars worth of financial records, personal banking and identification information, which was flatly rejected, and they continued to ask for more and more and more personal documents. At this point, this review process kinda feels like identity theft. As I saw that I was getting no where with that process, I called customer service again this time requesting that a supervisor call me back, to which no ever did. So now it has been 11 days since this has occurred, with no resolution. The irony is that I still get notifications on my ebay phone app, suggesting items for sale that are the same items I had for sale, but by other sellers. The items in question are open source software like Linux. They items were falsely reported as counterfeit, and if you search for these same items, you will see hundreds of listings that are the exact same as mine, currently listed for sale. I have tried to contact support to have a supervisor call me back, which was flatly ignored. The customer service team in charge of all support is based in India, and they operate apparently with no over site whatsoever. Ebay has intentionally obfuscated their corporate contact information, routing everything back to India. Attempts to contact upper management has failed. I've been a ebay member for 23 years, and had built a thriving business over the last year. I am a top rated seller, with over 99% positive feedback, many of the customers I have are brand new customers, and they tell me that made an account just to buy my items. I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Ebay is just ignoring what was done to me, and have made me to be the bad guy, when I have done nothing wrong.
