Account frozen and payments on hold for invoices!
Ebay put a hold on my funds and my account asking for me to provide invoices for items sold. I mostly sell sports cards but recently ive been selling off my old stuff lying around my house an in my storage unit. I literally throw receipts in the trash after i buy something because i dont plan on returning it. An its not like im selling new items, its all old stuff. Like my old Rc car, my nintendo switch, a battery from a drone that broke, old iphone i bought second hand that didnt work ( that sucked ) like come on now. I would hate to have my account anned for something so little.

As you are a new seller, payouts will get held as a matter of policy, see link below for more info.

But the request for invoices suggests something more serious. Was there any warning, policy violation, or any issues with eBay or buyers?
Are you aware that cancelling a transaction because you are unhappy with the auction ending price can get a killer defect leveled on your account? Under certain circumstances, seller-initiated transaction cancellations are a major violation of policy. Enough defects and one can lose their selling privileges.
FYI—it is quite risky to sell an item at auction for a one cent opening bid. I see a number sold at that price. If you feel the need to use the auction format, especially if the item is a pricey one, it is safer to start the bidding at the lowest amount you’ll be happy with should you only get one bid.
The request for additional documentation is likely eBay’s effort to establish your legitimacy as a seller on eBay. Do your best to comply.
