According to the Bad Buyer Experience ("BBE") policy
Hello,
I am a new seller (a few months old) and today I received this: In relation to your account, we have noticed that its performance does not meet the requirements of eBay's Bad Buyer Experience ("BBE")
Policy and my account has been restricted. I can't figure out what I can do to remove these restrictions. I have 109 reviews for the sales I have made, all positive. I have no returns.
What can I do?
Thanks!

·1 year agoI wonder why you do not ship to the United States. I wonder if the items you sell have something to do with the United States...like some companies.

The OP is in Bulgaria. They are selling to Europe, which makes a lot of sense for them.
If they were trying to sell to the USA, they would probably be having a lot more issues with INR, and delivery delays, so at this time, they should be concentrating on selling more locally, to Europe, and improving their BBE performance statistics.

·1 year agoI had to look this up because I had not heard of it and now I know why: it does not apply to US sellers.

The screenshot you posted explains why you are restricted, because 2 of the 134 sales were significantly not as described. But the screenshot says you will be only be restricted for about another month.

·1 year ago@ebeysince1998, just FYI, it's not quite that simple for the OP ...
"The screenshot you posted explains why you are restricted, because 2 of the 134 sales were significantly not as described."
And also, there were 2 of 134 sales with low DSRs. So 4 transactions had issues in total. Each transaction is only counted once, even if the transaction had multiple issues, I believe.
"But the screenshot says you will be only be restricted for about another month."
No, it means that OP will be evaluated again at that time (Feb 2, 2025). They need to make improvements, and continue making sales ... if they don't make improvements in their performance, then eventually the "action taken" will become a permanent restriction, and their listings will be removed, and they won't be able to sell anymore.

·1 year agoIf you are in Europe, BBE is now all about shipping and delivery. I don't understand why eBay has adopted such a hardline towards sellers in countries outside America. If you buy something from a foreign country, you should be willing to wait up to two months to get it. If not, don't buy from foreign sellers.
Unfortunately this restriction can only be removed by you proving you can deliver the items super fast. And since you are restricted, you can't.

·1 year agoYou need to read up on the eBay BBE rate policy.
https://export.ebay.com/en/regulations/ebay-policies/bber/
It will tell you how to determine what happened and what you can do (if anything).

OP1 year agoYes, everything described there is followed. Is there a procedure to have these restrictions lifted?

Your INR status looks very good, which is promising. What does your BBE status say?

·1 year agoSo it looks like you had two Significantly Not As Described cases opened against you (I believe those negatively impact you regardless of the outcome of the case), and two instances of Low Detailed Seller Ratings (I didn't know those were used, but I put a screenshot below of what that refers to). That's enough to get you into a high BBE score, it appears. If you're still able to list and sell, just try to get as many good transactions as you can before Feb 2, your next evaluation, to bring that BBE score down by diluting the bad experiences in as many good ones as you can. And if you can figure out why you had those two SNADs (which might be the same transactions with the low detailed scores), you can help yourself by avoiding those issues in the future if at all possible.

·1 year ago@makru-1555, thanks for sharing that information.
If you scroll down on that page, you should see a set of monthly charts, showing how many transactions had issues by month for the past year. That should help you figure out if any of the non-compliant transactions will have aged out of your 3-month evaluation period (which will be Nov 2024 to Jan 2025) by the time of your next evaluation (Feb 2, 25). Hopefully, at least some of them are older transactions from last October, and you don't have or get any new ones that are non-compliant.
At this point, you need to do everything you can to first, NOT get any more non-compliant transactions, and also, make as many transactions as you can, because if you have more total transactions than before, that will improve your percentage rate as well.
It is possible to get through this, but it's difficult. As long as you can make improvements to your performance statistics, you should eventually be able to get your performance back in line with your peers (the market average). Once your performance is lower (better) than the market average, then the restrictions should be lifted after the next evaluation that shows good performance.

·1 year agoThis is from the link that @luckythewinner provided:
https://export.ebay.com/en/regulations/ebay-policies/bber/#FAQ
How can I check my performance?
You can visit your Seller Dashboard to check your account performance which will be refreshed every Wednesday.
You should be checking your CBT Seller Dashboard each week, so that you can see if you have non-compliant transactions, and see the warnings about them. You can see both your BBE and your INR status there, and if you scroll down on the page, you will see your non-compliant transactions on graphs, for the past 12 months.
You should also be checking your INR status, here's a link to more info. eBay will continue to evaluate your account as long as here are relevant transactions. So you do still have an opportunity to improve, but you will have to do it while under whatever restrictions eBay has placed on your account. There is no way to ask for them to be removed or lessened.

Unfortunately, as it says, if eBay has taken action and removed your listings, then the restriction is permanent, and eBay will not evaluate your account any more. There is no way to appeal this, once it happens.
But you still have some active listings on eBay Germany, so you don't seem to have reached this stage yet.
