Accepting an offer from America with 0 pct feedback
Please can you advise as I’ve had an offer to the value of £225 from a ebayer with 0 pct feedback and they live in America . The offer is very tempting ? Please let me know your thoughts

About the only thing I would add is I don't believe eBay has enabled immediate payment required on accepted offers yet so there is always the possibility that the buyer may not pay. If this is for the following item I also noticed you do not accept returns you may want to look at the eBay policy and find out exactly what that means. It does not translate to no refunds.
Always remember the first rule as a seller on eBay and that is to never list anything you are not prepared to take the financial loss on. Scams happen every day on eBay and while there is data on the exact percentage of scams most transactions probably go through without any problems. It is also estimated that the return rates on ecommerce run between 20-30% depending on the category of the merchandise.

Everyone starts off at zero. This may just be a guest account. However, take caution if they ask you any of the following:
1. Buyer asks for your email address, Paypal address-They cannot pay you directly with Paypal
2. Buyer sends you a phone number to text/call him/her-Red flag
3. Buyer asks you to buy gift cards to go with the order
4. Buyer asks you to send the item to a different address after paying
5. Buyer wants you to send the item overnight/express and will pay you a lot extra to do this
6. Buyers says that they cannot pay through the eBay website and sends you a link to click on so that the payment will go through
7. Buyer offers more for your item than the price you have it listed for
If the buyer asks you for any of these, it's a scam attempt. Don't engage in any more communication with them and block them from further attempting to steal from you. Be careful.
