Accept an offer
I'm still learning, I received an Email from someone offering me a lower price for a listed item. I Emailed them back a counter offer. If they agree to my counter how do I change the price of my item so they get the item for the price we agreed on and not someone else? Thank you so much for the help:)

·1 year agoJust reduce the price in the listing, that forces ANY buyer to have to pay once they select buy it now as long as that is the preference in the listing.

·1 year agoHi @krihar-6712 and welcome. Glad you came here to ask questions.
How did the prospective buyer get your email?
All communication needs to take place thru eBay’s Message system.

·1 year agoDont trust the email....do it all via ebay messaging. Don't respond to the email for anything, no text, no pictures, no additional info, nothing

·1 year agoWhen you got the email, if it was legit, you should see on top a button to send an offer. Use that to send the buyer the offer you made. That will put all transactions now in the hands of eBay. Do not negotiate with the buyer any way. As a new seller, scammers are out to get you.

·1 year agoWas it strictly just messages, or did you receive a formal offer and respond to it via eBay’s offer system? Did you have buttons to click to Accept, Counter, or Decline?
