·2 weeks agoDrop shipping can be done correctly on this site, but the seller has to make sure they get proper and timely information from their supplier and in turn promptly update their current listings with that information.
I use to drop ship and I did a decent job at it. My buyers were happy, but it was a whole lot of work. I know many come into this thinking it is easy and an easy way to make money. If those are your thoughts, to do it right, you'd be wrong. It is a whole lot of work.
For me, I used a supplier that I could get an inventory list from EVERY day. That list had things that came into stock, items that went out of stock, items that had price increases and those that had price decreases. EVERY day I went through that list for items that I had active listings for and adjusted them accordingly as necessary.
If you can't have good control over your inventory you have up for sale on Ebay [or anywhere else], you are asking for trouble. You need to be in command of your inventory or simply don't list it. If you don't do this, you will eventually get sanctioned by Ebay for poor performance or worse.

·2 weeks agoYabelle claims to do all of the syncing themselves on an hourly basis (when I was multi-channel selling I checked every couple of hours and it was a pain, yes). My concern would be merchandise choice - dropshipping is so saturated that the chances of making much seem pretty slim, particularly using Amazon and Wally-World as two of the suppliers.
It definitely isn't for the inexperienced IMHO.

·2 weeks ago · EditedEvery week there are at least a couple of sellers on these boards who have been suspended from Ebay and want to know why. It's because when you don't have the product in hand, you cannot answer questions about it, don't know when they are out of stock or discontinued, or have any other control over late shipments or having customers receive the wrong item. The defects add up quickly. A very, very risky game.

·2 weeks agoHow do you intend to do the photography? Will Yaballe send you the products and then you send the products back to them? Who pays for shipping both ways?
Will they provide you pictures? A unique set for your own use or the same ones that 100 other Yaballe sellers are currently using on eBay?

·2 weeks agoYou can probably find this out on the Yabelle site.

·2 weeks agoThe greatest risk to your Ebay selling account if you drop ship from other than online retailers (which are banned) is late delivery or unfilled orders.
AI is unlikely to have the data to determine which suppliers you can count on to ship on time or not be out of stock. That is because by the time it knows about a stock outage, you may already have an order.
Even the most reliable wholesale suppliers will miss shipping items on time, especially of they are extremely in demand.
Drop shipping is a high risk strategy, and if you do it for long enough you will experience the pain.

·2 weeks agoYou need to do the math for a few products to confirm that your price will be competitive compared to other eBay sellers.
What happens when Yaballe runs out of stock for a product? Will their software end your listing and relist it when it is back in stock?
Can you cancel your Yaballe subscription early when your account gets suspended for Out-Of-Stock strikes?

·2 weeks agoMost sellers on ebay don't dropship. However there are some big dropshippers who sell a lot and make a ton of money. You really have to know what you are doing to make it as a dropshipper. Better to have the merch in hand and ship it yourself.

·2 weeks agoWhen you have to pay, they are the only one that'll make any money.
If it's like some of the other dropshipping programs, it could get you shut down.

·2 weeks agoShipping from Amazon and Aliexpress according to their own website, which is a type of “dropshipping” absolutely not allowed on eBay. Signing up for Yaballe would be less useful than lighting cash on fire.
