As long as the category applies to the item you're selling there's no problem with it.
Right now you've got problems with a few of your listings. You are selling stainless steel rings and state they are coming from SL, however the address reads the US. Do you know this is a policy violation and it could get you suspended? I would change that immediately. Customers need to know exactly where their items are being shipped from. Also, your prices are entirely too high. Why would any one pay $35 for a small print to hang on their wall? We can get items like that here for $2, bigger and we don't have to wait months to receive it from SL. Not to mention the glass in that frame could shatter during transit. You'll have some unhappy customers asking for their money back.
You really need to read more here about ebay's rules, policies and pricing items. Especially items that are not really in demand. You should really explore other avenues and inventories, because these items you have listed are going to cost you more than you're going to make.

·3 years agoAnother thing to keep an eye on, make sure all the information in the listing is correct.
The rings you just listed show they are located in Oregon, but the description says it'll be shipped directly from Sri Lanka.

·3 years agoI'd estimate it's also important not to list in categories that are not relevant to the item. Aka: You don't list video games in Women's clothing categories to try gain more visibility.

I have not listed the item in irrelevant categories. I have listed related items in related categories.(For example, I have listed related items in two different categories and in their related categories.) I wanted to know if listing items with such different categories is good for my sales account.

·3 years agoIf the item fits in two different categories, yes, you can list them in two, but it might cost you more in fee's.

·3 years agoNot sure if I complerely understand the question. Are you asking this: You have items listed in more than one category will there be a problem if you delete the second category from your listing. To the best of my knowledge the answer is no. I had some items listed in more than one category I decided it was not a good economical decision so I deleted the second category no problem. Regarding charges you need to look at charges related to each category they do vary for example final value fees and gallery plus charges.

Listing more items might be good for your sales account. It doesn't hurt to stray from the few categories you're using.

·3 years agoI could, but you need to learn how to use the help files:
Go to the upper right corner and click on ebay help
in the search box put in your question "add categories"
Click on the most applicable link............and that will take you to a page that tells you everything about adding categories.........how to do it, costs, etc.
