A new glitch: New listings go 'on sale' without seller doing it
To go along with the 'listing' issue sellers are experiencing, I have a new one.
Listed a new item yesterday, in a 'category' that I put everything on sale (20% off) 10 days ago (my 'sale' goes on for 1 month-till Feb 11) and the NEW listing that I put up automatically put the 20% off hours later!
Problem was, I had already listed it 20% lower, with that sale already figured.
Noticed it an hour later. So, I changed the price, it 'allowed me' to and then I checked it incognito on another computer.
All was good.
Until it wasn't.
It changed back hours later and buyer purchased (so now getting 20% off plus 20% off)
After hitting up Reps on FB, they could only see 'sold by promotion' and asked for screen shots.
I gave them 3 great shots.
The response was 'well, that is strange- you can always just cancel and refund)
I said- "buyer is not responsive and probably won't go for it" so WHAT reason do I use for the Cancel.
Then told "we have a record of it with your screen shots so you can use 'buyer requested'.
Luckily I asked the buyer to 'pay the difference' or I will just 'hold back' some of the pieces, he said to 'cancel' so now I had the green light to cancel without issue.
But, what a mess!
