7 day auction not showing up in search 12 hours after having started & wondering why?
I started an auction last night - "330 Vintage US Navy Military Anchor Insignia Metal Buttons WWII ? Nautical Shank" is title, item # 389123108269, on a word search it can not be found 12 hours after start time.
I am thinking it is because it is Navy / military related & somehow buttons are a threat & the auction needs to be inspected by someone or AI or whatever, but if it is not findable, why the hell do I have to pay for it not being findable within a few minutes of listing, let alone 12+ hours?

·10 months agoeBay says that newly listed items can take up to 24 hours from the last revision to be indexed and appear in search.

Military or weapons-related items can indeed take longer than usual, likely due to the need for some additional checking by a human before the item is indexed and becomes live.
If you want the listing to be visible earlier or for longer, you have the option to list earlier for a longer duration.

·10 months agoCan take 24 hrs for any listing to show up.......... military, gun stuff take longer than ordinary stuff....for the reason you mention.
