·3 years agoWhen it renews it counts as ONE LISTING and will be charged a listing fee, unless you have free listings available, in which case there in no charge.

·3 years agoAll fixed price listings are now in the format that eBay calls "Good until canceled." A GTC listing rolls over each month on the same day as it was originally listed (a listing that begins on January 19 will roll over on February 19, March 19, etc.).
When it rolls over, it will use up one of your monthly free insertions if available; if not, then you will be charged a regular insertion fee, which is 35 cents if you don't have a Store subscription and have used up your 250 free insertions.

I was looking for! (Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.) 17 years, and I had no idea the
"Relist 8 times for Free" was counted against the monthly Freebies! Thought they were 'extra'... !!

·3 years agoThe free 8 relists for auction-format listings truly are free. Check the details on your listing form; if you are being charged for automatic auction-format relists, you might be getting an option for 8 automatic auction relists that aren't free.
I have never heard of a "free relists" for fixed price listings. Technically the monthly rollover is not a relist: the listing keeps the same listing number, preserves the number of "Sold" items in a multi-item listing, etc.

Everyone gets 250 free listings per month.
I have a premium store that allows me 10,000.
All I run is buy it now, fixed price, immediate payment required. I do have some with best offer.
No auctions.
