$22.90 that's what's happening this week
The Ebay shipping calculator is giving me a shipping costs only to have this month of December 2024 cost on certain items coming back as additional charges of 22.90 per item no matter what size box we shipped.
Ebay says it's a UPS error will see if I'm credited the amounts back. Three months ago it was Fed Ex that was creating charge backs that were outrageous . You might think it was my error except that was not the reporting from the chargebacks from the shipper instead it was claiming that the calculators on Ebays site were not taking into account a weight versus measured calculation ouch this is not what we signed up for after thirty years on eBay I'm supposed to second guess the shipping calculator on Ebays site This would not bother me if it was a couple dollars here and there this is 20 30 40 dollars per item and is starting to relate to losses per sale. granted the majority of packages are going through without a hitch its a small percentage that has caused my doubt in shipping with Ebay. Hope its just me and no one else is experiencing this issue.
In the term the last time this happened in August we were never refunded tall the shipping looses even though
we were told by Fed Ex they were going to make the looses right .

·1 year agoThis is why I very rarely use ups or fed ex. it's worth he higher shipping upfront with usps on larger items to me to know it's not going to get renegotiated after the fact a month or 2 later.

·1 year agoWhen you buy USP and FedEx labels on eBay the cost is an estimate.
It says on the screen "estimated costs"
UPS and FedEx have many extra charges and they are billed after the item is delivered.
If you search here there are many posts about the same issue.
